Terms of Use

These terms apply when you visit this site, read the official manual, or follow its guidance. Before purchasing or using the app, also review the applicable terms displayed on the App Store.

1. Scope and Sources

This is the Shadowrocket for Mac official site and Shadowrocket official manual. It provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting issues. These terms govern your use of this site and its content. They do not replace the license terms applicable to the app, App Store transaction terms, or Apple policies.

The manual is based on information available on the App Store page and in the app. Interface labels and available options may vary by device, system, or app update; follow the instructions that match the interface you currently see. This guidance does not guarantee that a particular configuration will suit your needs or network environment.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations applicable where you live and where you use the app. Do not use the app, configuration guidance, or diagnostic methods for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ privacy or intellectual property, or compromise the security of networks or information systems. You must have lawful authorization to access or test network resources.

Importing a configuration assumes that you already have your own subscription or server details. You are responsible for verifying the configuration’s source and your authorization to use it, and for protecting passwords, keys, subscription URLs, and personal data. Remove sensitive information before sharing troubleshooting materials, and never post full credentials publicly.

3. App Store Purchases and Service Limits

Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source commercial app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. It is available exclusively through the App Store. Check the App Store page for the price, system requirements, device compatibility, and eligibility for universal purchase. Follow the store’s procedures for purchases, refunds, and restoring past purchases.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a network service plan. Purchasing the app gives you the right to use the client; it does not include server or network services. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services, and does not manage accounts, fees, or availability for services you already use.

4. Availability and Limitation of Liability

The app is sold on the App Store. The information on this site cannot guarantee continuous availability of the app, this site, or network services you already use. It also makes no guarantees about connection success rates, speed, latency, or specific outcomes. Network conditions, system permissions, server status, and configuration differences can all affect performance.

Back up important data before changing configurations, deleting records, or importing them again. To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for the unavailability of the site or app, interruptions, configuration errors, data loss, or related losses. These terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affect your statutory consumer rights.

5. Trademarks and Intellectual Property

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, or their respective rights holders. Official icons and app materials shown on this site are used solely to identify the product and explain its use. Viewing, citing, or purchasing the app does not transfer any related rights.

Use of the text and editorial content on this site must comply with applicable copyright laws. When quoting it, preserve its meaning and credit the source. Do not remove rights notices, misrepresent operating requirements, or use the content in misleading product descriptions. Materials belonging to other rights holders are subject to their applicable terms.

6. Changes to These Terms and Questions

We may revise these terms to reflect legal requirements or changes to the site’s content or features. Revised terms and the updated month will be posted on this page. Changes apply to visits and use from the date they are posted, unless applicable law requires a different notice or effective date.

If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the relevant content on this site. For purchase and access questions, start with the FAQ. For setup questions or differences between the instructions and your app, check the Getting Started guide. For payment, refund, or purchase history questions, use the applicable App Store process.
